Music, Mutts and Margaritas Benefits SPCA of TN

Thanks to everyone for coming out and bringing their furry children to the most recent installment of Music, Mutts & Margaritas. The wonderfully kind and lovely Donna Frost provided a great mix of original and cover music. She's a friend to both humans and animals in need and devotes her personal time and musical talents to worthwhile causes like Music, Mutts & Margaritas.

This week's featured rescue group was SPCA of Tennessee. Thanks to the kind folks at Music City Bar & Grill who host the weekly event and Patti at The Whole Kit & Kapoodle who puts it all together, SPCA was able to raise a little much-needed cash and expand their presence with local dog and cat lovers.

Saturday's summer storm cut the outdoor festivities a little short but once again, a nice-sized crowd had gathered on the patio with an interesting mix bag of K9 cuties. This was our third MM&M and we were happy to see old friends and meet many new ones. So come out, enjoy a little music, food and drink in the company of like-minded folks who love their pets and envision a community of responsible pet ownership but in the meantime are willing to support the rescuing, fostering and transporting of abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted animals.

I have always wanted to attend this event and finally made it this year. It is really a good event. What do you think about doing for the fall? Maybe something to do with Holloween.
