Just A Couple Of Details

I'm still searching for the right words to express what I am feeling but in the meantime, here are the answers to some FAQs from my announcement:

1. Emily stays with the store.

2. I am going into business with my fiance. He has a photography studio and we realized that as small business-people we were both already married to our respective businesses. Two people, two businesses and three marriages is just too much. While Tim would have joined me in the yarn business, it turns out I'm a much better photographer than he is a knitter!

3. It's rather bittersweet but could not have worked out any better in any way.

4. I promise you all will LOVE the new owner (for one thing, she totally shares my enthusiasm and my "14-year-old-boy" sense of humor).

Send your words my way since I seem to have misplaced most of my own!

3 Years Ago Today I Opened Threaded Bliss

And 3 weeks from today, I'll become known as "the woman who used to own Threaded Bliss."

There is so much I want to say that I still can't quite get the words out. This isn't the first time this adventure has left me speechless. This is all a very, very good thing. The woman to whom I've sold the shop is awesome (I was very lucky and was able to pick and choose among several prospective buyers - I think I chose very well and am sure you'll agree).

More to follow when I can find the words.
