I love to get them, I love to read them but I've had to moderate them again because some people just don't know how to play nice. What a shame, huh?

Just 'cuz I didn't have my camera (or phone) with me at last night's first-ever, not to have been missed, co-ed, foot-soaking Mary Kay party at our friends' house.
but it's all good.
I can't believe only Emily commented on my great-nephew-to-be looking exactly like a Kewpie doll! I'm still laughing about it.
Go see Emily and Deirdre as they are holding the fort down today and make sure your calendar is clear for Stitch 'n Bitch tomorrow night. It's always a blast but don't take my word for it, come on down and see for yourselves!
The Kewpie Doll lives on:
so much to do blog.
But here's a cool highlight - old home week continues at my favorite yarn store!
Our girl Sarah stopped by sporting her Talent Pass from playing for the President with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
It was a great week at Threaded Bliss yet again!
and it could hardly get any better than this:
Ms. Martha Denton left Nashville, her home of almost 60 years, to move closer to her nephew a year and a half ago. Not a day has passed that Emily and I both haven't thought of and missed her. I always describe Martha as my most relevant role model. Lucky Cathy Z. who also knew Martha from the store, walked in at just the right time yesterday.
I could go on and on about what a magnificent woman Martha is and what a phenomenal life she made for herself (mind you, she made that life for herself at a time when women were neither expected nor encouraged to make their own ways and their own lives).
What a week - I am truly blessed!
