Apropos of Not Much

I'm still gaping-jawed about the duet Celine Dion sang with Elvis Presley on American Idol Gives Back Wednesday night.

Did you see it? Can you believe it?

It was incredible (as was seeing seeing Jeff Beck on guitar with Kelly Clarkson. Annie Lenox singing Bridge Over Troubled Water was also amazing!)

You gotta love technology, don't ya?

Now I wonder if the same folks that made that duet possible could make it also possible for my dad to give me away when I marry the love of my life. Wouldn't that be cool?*

*I know that on that day, my dad will "be there" just like he was "at" my law school graduation and the Massachusetts bar exam (I swear, he found the only lawyer in heaven and gave me all the right answers!). Call me crazy.
