Shrug or a Shawl? You Make The Call!
This ball of Schaefer Laurel and that ball of Tahki Fiji want to be either a shrug or a shawl. I see the Fiji as some sort of ruffled edge on either.
So we're going to have a contest. Vote in the comments about whether you think those yarns should be a shrug or a shawl. You have until Friday morning (10:00am) to enter and then I'll use a random number generator (Jenn S. told me about those - she knows ALL the cool stuff) and the person whose comment is the same number will win a prize as yet to be determined!
Good luck!

it'd make a really cute shrug!

A shrug with that yarn would look so cute for spring!

I am usually a shaw person but I bought some of the Schaefer Laurel Saturday (mine was shades of green and yellow) and after petting it for a few minutes I think it would feel best as a fun shrug with a funky Fiji ruffle.

I see a shawl in your future (I hope!). Lacey ruffles?

How about both? I saw a wonderful pattern that had the width and depth of a shawl but closed at the wrist for your hands to fit through. I think it's the best of both worlds, you have the romance of a shawl, but the convenience of a shrug.

Shrug...totally hip and you'll wear it more. Find a pattern with an "airy" feel to it tho.
