We Need to Make Space . . .

You all know what that means, don't you?

It means that I am likely to put stuff on sale or clearance at any moment!

One customer already found all that was left of one of her personal favorite yarns and she got it all - on CLEARANCE even!

That's 50% OFF, people!

Don't miss out - one of these moments, it just might be one of YOUR personal favorites.

I'm just sayin' . . .

To Give Credit Where Credit Is Due

Hanging the coat rack on the outside of a door and then adorning it with my scarves was all Tim's idea!

On another note: go check out this adorable and abandoned puppy that's looking for a home...

How Cool is Tilli Tomas?

These  bag forms that you basically knit right onto are the neatest thing I've seen in a while.

The way that the Mango Moon Recycled Tie-Dye Viscose actually striped HORIZONTALLY on the little bag is soooo cool!    Next I think I need to make a big one like this:

Those Tilli Tomas people are pretty darn clever too.  See:

And . . . speaking of Mango Moon, there are only a couple of the great woven bags left too.  These make great knitting bags and have a very, very comfortable wide shoulder strap.  I finally broke down and got one for myself and I LOVE IT!

I also love Mango Moon since they fall right in line with my buying philosophy - help those that help others.

Happy Valentine's Day

Dsc04190

Two dozen of these beauties were waiting for me with my coffee this morning!  Say it with me now...."AWWWWWWW"...I love red roses, especially on Feb. 14th!

Could there possibly be a more appropriate card for a lawyer to give her Valentine than this one?

Cholesterol

121 total!!!

That said, I recommend anyone with a spare buck invest it in pork futures!  I DON'T HAVE TO GIVE UP BACON (or country ham or pork chops or pork tenderloin or honey baked ham or sausage or ICE CREAM!)

This was the first time in my life I was worried that I'd have high cholesterol since my betrothed learned early on that the quickest way to a Jewish girl's heart is through bacon.  Granted, my level is the highest it's ever been and it did go up 7 points but with much thanks to my Mom and good genes, it's still in the excellent category!
