Silly Knitting

I don't really know what's gotten into me lately or better yet, what's gotten into my knitting bag. Whatever it is, I'm stuck on knitting silly stuff. See:

I've got three sweaters on needles (one is from last summer), squares to knit for the Mason-Dixon Afghanalong, and swatches to knit for the shop and these two things are what I finish? Oh well, at least I finished something and finally figured out how to blog. All in all, not a bad day.

I am working on the dogosaurus and am having trouble. I just wondered if you had any words of wisdom regading this pattern or could help me get unstuck?
