One of my favorite things!

If only we weren't both sick...

we'd have said yes to the Obama volunteer who called me this morning to ask if I'd be willing to travel to a battleground state and help get the vote out for Obama. I've never felt so strongly about a candidate or an election as I do about this one.

This thing is amazing! I just bowled a 200 and have already lowered my Wii Fit age to younger than my real age! Exercise hasn't been this much fun since summer camp!

I didn't set out to make today a bash Sarah Palin day but gosh darn it, she makes it so easy! Really, today is supposed to be stay in since it's nasty out and get my craft room in order and my tv room more amenable to Wii boxing! I only crashed (fell down for real) once yesterday but I knocked over a box too!!

well, that is if you're not a fan of Sarah Palin. Heeheehee.

Before this election, I've always stayed pretty mum about my politics. My dad taught that there were three things you simply did not discuss: one's own money, politics and religion. For the most part, I try to do that. This year - for the first time ever - I went so far as to put an Obama sign in my yard.

It feels good.

P.S. I might have over wii-ed it yesterday since I woke up SORE! I think it was mostly from tennis and boxing. Did I mention that not only did I knock Tim out but I actually hit him so hard I flipped him over? :-) Really, I did. That was when he wasn't busy knocking me out!

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii

My ms specialist (and my mom have harped on me to get more exercise for months. The only thing I could do where I wouldn't get hot was swim. I found a place with a cold pool and tried that for a while. For lots of reasons it's really not my thing. When I tried to get some real exercise in the fitness room, I got really hot and that makes me walk like a drunkard since my right side pretty much goes limp until I cool down again.

Well - problem solved (not cheaply but very effectively) and it's called Wii! And Wii Fit which is so fricken brilliant I can't even begin to go into it all. I set fans up on either side of the tv, keep cold water nearby and play tennis till my arms are limp, my heart is racing and I've had one hell of a workout (and that's with Wii Sports - Wii Fit is another amazing story). Anywii, I love our Wii!
